How does Joelle make her paintings and what are the materials?  Joelle creates the collage and textured effect with layers of glued duck cloth, gesso, and oil paint.  The final layers are painted with oversized paint brushes in directional strokes.

Where does Joelle find her inspiration?  Joelle often starts with a sketch, sometimes loosely borrowing lines from human form and is endlessly motivated by great lighting.

How big are the paintings?  Joelle specializes in large format paintings and the sizes tend to range from 48” x 48” to 96” x 120”.

Do you ship internationally?  Yes. Initially, paintings are shipped to our art handler in Minneapolis, Minnesota. To ship from Minneapolis to anywhere internationally, the purchaser must make arrangements with the art handler and pay for those additional customs, duties, EORI, and any additional costs separately and through the art handler directly.
